As a GOP-independent candidate for Michigan’s 35th Senate District, I’m appalled by State Rep. Julie Brixie’s actions, caught on camera vandalizing Rep. Matt Maddock’s vehicle with plastic wrap in the Capitol parking structure on April 17, 2025. Worse, Brixie disrupted a House session with a false claim, announcing Maddock’s car was left running with its hood up, reading his license plate aloud when no such emergency existed. Security footage exposed her lie and confirmed her as the culprit. This isn’t just unbecoming; it’s a potential violation of law and a betrayal of trust.
Bay, Midland, and Saginaw counties have been without a senator for 115 days, silenced while Lansing plays games like Brixie’s stunt. It’s a slap to every Michigander craving leadership. Tampering with a vehicle and halting government proceedings aren’t pranks, they’re reckless. I echo Rep. Angela Rigas’ call for serious consequences and question Brixie’s judgment.
I’m a trucker dad who’s fought hospitals and fraud for my five kids, I know accountability. If elected on May 28, I’ll push for a 17-day vacancy law to ensure no district waits over two weeks for a voice, and deliver SB 1-3: $50M for kids, $100M for roads, $75M for justice, no tax hikes. No games, no stunts, just results. Join me at ChadwickTwillman.com to demand better for the 35th.
